Hand wash and cool rinse. Drip dry in shade and steam/iron on the reverse side to preserve the fabric’s natural texture and sheen.

This shirt was inspired by a quiet covid afternoon spent wandering through rows of potted plants at a local nursery. Failed at sustaining a kitchen garden, but made a shirt. We used a mustard coloured flower because it reminded us of sunflowers. The piece is crafted from 60 lea Linen and features meticulous hand-embroidered vertical and horizontal petals. Hand embroidery is a universal and ancient craft, dating back thousands of years across cultures like China, the Near East, and India. This technique, which involves decorating fabric with a needle and thread, transforms the garment into a unique, hand-crafted work of art, signifying enduring quality and heritage.
