The shirt is made from hand-woven 1 by 1 Kala Cotton, an indigenous, rain-fed cotton variety native to Kutch, Gujarat, India. It requires minimal water, is naturally organic, and highly resilient. The piece is Hand-embroidered with the Suf embroidery technique. Suf is a traditional needlework style, worked from the reverse side of the fabric, originating in Bhuj, Gujarat, India. This meticulous technique transforms the garment into a unique, hand-crafted work of enduring quality and strong regional heritage.
