This edit is a quiet ode to our years-long fascination with Japan, which began with Murakami in our teens and deepened over time through ramen bowls, films, and anime (Spirited Away particularly), a fabric label that read “Made in Japan.” This samue is our way of folding all those moments into something tangible. The shirt is inspired by the Samue (a traditional Japanese garment) and the Yukata (a casual kimono). The design emphasizes simplicity and effortless wear for relaxation.
