Some places never leave you. This one lives on your sofa.

Jim Corbett National Park, where the forest meets the water and time slows down completely. The Pond of Corbett cushion carries that exact stillness into your home. Crafted using the rare Jahota mud-resist printing tradition, where natural mud paste is hand applied before dyeing to create patterns of extraordinary earthy depth.

Deep olive. Warm brown. Soft beige. Desert flower motifs blooming across textured cotton slub. A cushion that feels like the forest floor at dusk, grounded, quiet and completely alive.

The Details:

- 100% cotton slub, naturally textured and breathable

- Traditional Jahota mud-resist hand block printing

- Natural azo-free dyes, safe for your home and the environment

- Olive, brown, yellow and soft beige botanical motifs on cream base

- 150 hours of skilled artisan craftsmanship per piece

Styling: Built for warm minimal Australian homes and nature inspired interiors. Works beautifully against cream, linen, timber, rattan and terracotta tones. The earthy olive and brown palette makes it a natural companion to jute rugs, wooden furniture and indoor plants. Perfect for living rooms, reading corners and sun drenched Australian patios that love the feeling of being close to nature.

Care: Cold hand wash only. Dry in shade to preserve the natural dyes. Do not wring or bleach. Iron on low heat inside out.

Why it's special: Jahota mud-resist printing is one of India's rarest and most endangered craft traditions. The mud paste technique means every print carries the mark of the earth it was made from, a level of authenticity that no digital print or machine process can ever replicate. 150 hours per piece. Real hands. Real craft.

Handcrafted in India by Bloc A Main. Brought to Australia by Sattva & Sage.

Gentle hand wash or professional dry clean. Do not Bleach. Do not Shade. Warm Iron on Reverse Side Only.

Every item is made to order with care in small batches. Production, dispatch and shipping and delivery may take up to 3–4 weeks.

Jahota printing comes from a small village near Jaipur, known for its bold, folk-inspired motifs and earthy colour palette.
Artisans hand-carve wooden blocks and print each layer by hand, often using natural dyes and mineral pigments.
The designs carry a rustic, rhythmic charm, floral vines, geometric borders, and patterns rooted in Rajasthan’s countryside.
Every metre is printed slowly, sun-dried, washed, and sometimes reprinted for depth.
The slight variations, overlaps, and softness of colour are the true markers of Jahota’s handmade character.
A craft that feels grounded, warm, and beautifully imperfect, just as tradition intended.
