Kantha Pattern: The shirt is made from 100% European linen and features delicate hand-embroidered fish outlines in a Kantha pattern. Kantha is a centuries-old indigenous embroidery tradition primarily from Bengal. It is defined by its simple, running stitch, historically used to layer and stitch together old fabric (like saris) into new, functional items, symbolising recycling and the preservation of stories and memory. This technique transforms the garment into a unique, hand-crafted work of enduring quality and cultural heritage.
