Chippa Shirt, named after the Chhipa community, the keepers of Rajasthan's hand block printing legacy. A tribute to their timeless craft, this shirt is patterned in a rather traditional print with vertical vines, rhythmic, earthy, and alive. Made for those who find beauty in detail and stories in design. Available in two prints.

Detail: Traditional print with vertical vines, soft geometry, and natural tones 

Wash separately (especially the first few washes). Hand wash and cool rinse. Drip dry in shade and steam/iron on the reverse side to preserve the fabric's texture, print quality, and sheen.

The shirt is a direct tribute to the Chhipa community of Rajasthan. The Chhipa community (a name derived from the Hindi word 'to print') are the hereditary master artisans who serve as the traditional custodians of Hand Block Printing in regions of Rajasthan, particularly around Jaipur. Their role is central to the craft's existence, as they are responsible for the entire, complex process: carving wooden blocks, mixing dyes, and manually stamping the fabric with precise, rhythmic motions . This specialized knowledge is passed down strictly across generations, ensuring that ancient techniques, such as those used in creating the distinct regional styles of Sanganer and Bagru, are preserved. When a garment is a tribute to the Chhipa community, it acknowledges the immense generational skill, cultural heritage, and sustained labor that differentiates authentic artisan-made textiles from mass-produced fabrics.
